The field of operations has already been deeply explored by the partners. The consortium did so in direct cooperation with UNESCO, United Nations University, UNECE, industry and politicians on the local, regional and national level. There are several innovative aspects in the project.
First, the rethinking of schooling. The school as a nexus to real life learning integrated in the community and region that opens up and supplies all sources of knowledge and experience to learner and teacher, fully bridging schooling and the world of work.
Secondly, integrating the key priorities (ESD, science, entrepreneurship, ICT, citizenship, languages, etc.) into a curriculum-proof new educational reality.
Thirdly, bridging primary, secondary and higher education to lay a solid bases for lifelong learning. We will strive towards an uninterrupted process of pupilís development, reducing the negative consequences of (early) school leaving and optimising their talents and potentials.
Fourthly, creation an education that structurally combines the world of work and schooling to prevent present day mismatches in knowledge, skills and competences, through a direct and structural cooperation with companies and industry as educational partners.
Fifthly, repositioning of teachers from subject-integrated experts to fellows for the young learners.
