THE OPEDUCA PROJECT

DEVELOPING OPEN EDUCATIONAL REGIONS
FOR FUTURE-ORIENTED LEARNING AND TEACHING
ANYTIME, ANYPLACE, WITH ANYBODY, THROUGH ANY DEVICE

540384-LLP-1-2013-1-NL-COMENIUS-CMP
Funding Agency: European Commission, Lifelong Learning Programme - COMENIUS
Project Duration: October 2013 - March 2016
Partners: 19
EU countries: 8

The project reaches its target groups by full involvement of them in the planned activities. To make the envisioned education a reality, our approach will impact teaching, requiring teachers to stand open to society, create content and cooperate with students - (re-)develop their own knowledge and skills. The impact in terms of mental changes, shifts in attitude and behavior, also translates to school management and the way a school is operated and positioned.

A classroom replaced by real life learning in the region and cross border (culture, languages), books being replaced by OER, the import of actual knowledge through educational partners from science and industry - it will all impact the youngsters. To achieve this, employers will have to be more close and continuously connected to the learning processes.

We plan to inform others schools in the various regions, as well as companies and municipalities, about the projectís progress through newsletters, conference, video and interviews made by pupils. Their direct involvement will create an impact.
